"Home by Christmas” was the cry at the start of World War 1, but after nearly two and a half years there was no end to the war in sight, and it was creating great stresses in the countries that were paying such a horrible price. Join OCC world history Professor Emeritus, Dennis Fiems as he discusses the failure to come to a quick resolution in this program scheduled on the 100 year anniversary of the U.S. entry into WWI. This is a follow-up to the fall program “The Shot that Killed Millions” but previous attendance is not required.
